Heylen Warehouses and Borghese Logistics have commenced construction on the first phase of V-Port Logistic Campus 21 in Vlissingen. With HIH Logistics and Feniks Warehouses joining as the initial tenants, this large-scale logistics project is quickly taking shape.
The campus is poised to become a future-proof logistics centre in a strategic location within North Sea Port. The overall development includes 188,000 m² of logistics space on a site exceeding 27 ha. After the first phase, there will still be capacity for more than 100,000 m² of further logistics development.
The first phase includes two logistics warehouses built to meet strict safety and compliance standards for the storage of lithium-ion batteries. Construction started in May 2026, and the partnership with the initial tenants was celebrated on 23 June during an on-site event.
As the first tenants, HIH Logistics and Feniks Warehouses each contribute their unique expertise. Feniks specialises, among other areas, in warehousing and distribution within international supply chains, with a strong focus on trade flows between Asia and Europe. HIH Logistics operates as an integrated supply chain provider, with specialised knowledge in photovoltaic energy, energy storage, and the automotive industry.
According to the initiators, the arrival of the first tenants confirms the market demand for specialised logistics infrastructure. Its location in Vlissingen, with links to European hinterland corridors and proximity to major seaports, makes the campus appealing to companies seeking secure, scalable storage solutions.
The project is being carried out in collaboration with, among others, North Sea Port, the municipality of Vlissingen, and various consultants and contractors. Ooms Makelaars Bedrijfshuisvesting, a partner in Dynamis Logistiek, was engaged to handle the letting transaction. The agreement was finalised in collaboration with JLL.
