Family business Mervielde was honoured at the annual festival of Voka (Vlaams netwerk van ondernemingen) last month, as the company celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2025 - a special milestone for this established value in North Sea Port.
Mervielde specialises in the transport and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous liquids. Since Mervielde expanded its original transport activities to include specialised storage 10 years ago, the company has continued to grow into the locally anchored partner for tailor-made logistics solutions that it is today.
2025 is a special year for Mervielde: not only are they celebrating their 80th anniversary, but earlier this year, they also celebrated a special milestone with the installation of eight new land tanks at their Seveso site on Kuhlmannlaan in North Sea Port. The eight giant tanks have a combined storage capacity of 16 million litres and mark a significant expansion of Mervielde's infrastructure.
Read more about Mervielde and the eight brand-new land tanks in the May-edition of PortNews on pages 20-23.
