Following the festive start of construction in February 2025, the foundations for Panattoni Park Sas Van Gent have now been laid. The planned 34,000 m² multifunctional logistics building is being constructed on the historic site of the former glass factory in Sas van Gent, North Sea Port.
The brownfield site on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium was first decontaminated and is now being transformed into a modern, natural gas-free and sustainable business location, with the ambition of achieving the BREEAM-NL Excellent standard. The strategic location in the heart of North Sea Port is multimodally accessible by road, rail and water.
The construction of Panattoni Park Sas van Gent is being carried out by Willy Naessens Nederland, a specialist in large-scale, sustainable commercial buildings. The 34,000 m² complex will feature flexible units ranging from approximately 16,000 m², 30 loading bays and 233 parking spaces, and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2026.
