Exporting Antwerp Port Expertise Worldwide

Global Port Training (GPT)

Global Port Training (GPT) has specialized in training machine operators and port and terminal workers worldwide. Their operations extend to more than 150 ports in over 70 countries. With its global presence, Global Port Training can share its in-depth knowledge and extensive experience with various port companies and communities. They understand that each location has unique needs, so they offer tailor-made training programs that seamlessly align with the specific requirements of each company.

Crane Operator Selection Test (C.O.S.T.)

Global Port Training introduces an innovative approach through a mobile crane simulator, brought directly to your location. They understand the crucial role of well-trained crane operators and have therefore developed a comprehensive training program to maximize your potential. To begin with, the company offers the Crane Operator Selection Test (C.O.S.T.) to select the most talented operators from a pool of candidates. Selected candidates then undergo thorough initial training on a crane simulator under the guidance of experienced instructors. Upon successful completion of this training, candidates transition to working with real cranes. They are closely supervised by coaches as they undergo the required tests before being operationally deployed. Choosing a mobile crane simulator during the initial training offers significant benefits, primarily in terms of cost efficiency.
